Today’s health care system is complex and confusing partly because of many different providers, specialists, test, procedures, and medications. Google health offers people a way to take charge of their own health information and manage it securely with others. Susie Keeton, a health care information professional and current cancer patient, will share her experiences using Google Health and demonstrate the following benefits:

  • Manage a history of your test results, vaccinations, and medications;
  • Reduce repetitive paperwork;
  • Avoid possibly dangerous drug interactions;
  • Import medical images and records; and
  • Share your health information securely with a family member, caregiver, or doctor.
