<p>DAXKO is seeking a Business-Systems Analyst to work on the product development team. </p>
<p><strong>Primary Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Working with DAXKO Product Managers and User Experience Engineers to:</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li> 
<ul>
<li>Facilitate small and large meetings and conduct information gathering sessions.</li>
<li>Document work processes, data requirements, data flows, business process and data interdependencies, and potential future business needs.</li>
<li>Analyze, define, and document customer business and functional requirements in the form of Use Cases and Activity Diagrams / Process Flows.</li>
<li>Document upfront project scope, estimates, and goals / objectives.</li>
<li>Work as a translation layer between the business users and the technical team to facilitate an understanding of the business / functional requirements by the product developers.</li>
<li>Provide some validation of testing, as required.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Conducting research on potential solutions to solve business problems, including:</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li> 
<ul>
<li>Researching technology solutions to meet business requirements. </li>
<li>Identifying available packaged and open source software that provides functionality to meet defined business needs. </li>
<li>Researching potential software features, processes, data flows, data elements, DBMS requirements, hardware requirements, O/S requirements, availability of vendor support, pricing options, conversion costs, implementation costs and other related items and costs.</li>

<p>The individual should possess a strong work ethic and a desire to assist with the growth of DAXKO.  The selected individual for this key position should possess strong personal management skills, have a good personality, be a team player, and represent a strong sense of ownership to others both inside and outside of DAXKO. </p>
<p><strong>Required Skills/Experience:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree</li>
<li>3+ years experience as a Business-Systems Analyst.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to work with business users and technical team: understand requirements, perform analysis and write solid functional specs/functional requirements for a team of software developers.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to gain the respect of a software development team.</li>
<li>Working familiarity with web development and relational database concepts.</li>
<li>Strong analytical and problem solving skills.  Highly detail oriented.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a software development environment.</li>
<li>Effective interpersonal skills (presentation, written and oral) and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of staff levels.</li>
<li>Proficiency with:
<ul>
<li>Business Process Modeling</li>
<li>Use Cases</li>
<li>UML Diagrams (Use Cases, Activity Diagrams)</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Description</strong>: As a Technical leader of an engineering team, the Lead Engineer relies on experience and judgment in web application development to coordinate work teams in order to produce complex dynamic web applications and solutions. Requires ASP.NET, C#, MS SQL Server, Web Services, Web Forms, n-tier architecture and AJAX technical skills </p>
<ul><strong>Responsibilities and Essential Functions:</strong></p>
<li>Plan, develop, implement, debug and support web-based applications for products and client sites</li>
<li>Coordinate work assignments for team members.</li>
<li>Mentor junior team members by conducting peer reviews, providing guidance, suggesting best practices and techniques, etc&#8230;</li>
<li>Strong coordination and communication skills are essential. Interface with clients, support, project management, technical and senior leadership, peers.</li>
<li>Provide sales support functions as needed including estimation of new projects, and providing occasional training and demos.</li>
</ul>
<ul><strong>Other Duties:</strong></p>
<li>Develops technical designs and considers future needs when designing solutions</li>
<li>Writes code to solve complex logic problems that others cannot solve</li>
<li>Develops and recommends improvements to project coding standards</li>
</ul>
<ul><strong>Experience/Education:</strong></p>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field + at least 7 years experience in development of web applications and/or software or at least 9 years experience without degree</li>
<li>4+ years .NET using C#</li>
<li>Proficient in web technologies such as HTML, XML, CSS, AJAX &amp; JavaScript</li>
<li>Thorough knowledge in relational database design and development (MS SQL Server)</li>
<li>Must be familiar with the full life cycle development process, and have experience in analyzing business, functional, and technical requirements</li>

Primary responsibility includes project management of the uiversity&#8217;s external and internal Web presence and online electronic media and communications projects. This position collaborates with the Office of the Vice President for Technology and works with vendors to carry out these initiatives. Assists in the development of and monitoring of assigned budget. (Annual Salary Range: $48,204 - $61,800 - $75,396)<br />

<font size="3"><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong>   This position requires a Bachelor&#8217;s degree preferably in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications or related field and 4 years of related experience in print or other marketing communications with experience in Web marketing communications or a Masters degree and 1 year of applicable experience.
