Adobe CS3 Special Event

A new era in creative expression is about to unfold, freeing us to color outside the lines, to think in multiple dimensions, to engage audiences like never before. “Please join us at this special meeting”:/adobe that will include the first opportunity in the area to see how Adobe Creative Suite 3, which was officially announced on March 27th, will change the lives of professional web designers and developers everywhere.

During this two-hour session, “Greg Rewis”:/greg-rewis, Sr. Worldwide Web Tools Evangelist from Adobe, will bring us all up to speed on the latest features of the new products and what these features mean in real-world web workflows. During Greg’s presentation you will get to see must have features of Photoshop CS3, such as the new auto-align, stack mode and 3D tools, Illustrator’s live color, Dreamweaver and Photoshop integration, the Spry framework for Dreamweaver CS3, along with Fireworks’ rapid prototyping features, and the all new Flash CS3 with Photoshop and Illustrator import, new drawing tools, animation improvements and new video workflow.

Following Greg’s presentation, CSS-expert and Standardista “Stephanie Sullivan”:/stephanie-sullivan, will get us all psyched about designing for standards with CSS using Dreamweaver. Stephanie will take you step-by-step through the CSS layouts which ship with Dreamweaver CS3, showing you how to effectively implement these into your site design. She’ll explain the core concepts of each design, highlighting the CSS constructs which make each design function and what you need to know in order to make changes to the designs quickly and easily in Dreamweaver CS3.
